RJ Griffith Delivers National Anthem Performance at Chicago Sky Game

Chicago-based singer-songwriter and actor RJ Griffith brought his powerful voice to center court at Wintrust Arena on Sunday, August 3rd performing the National Anthem ahead of the Chicago Sky’s matchup against the Phoenix Mercury. The performance took place just before tipoff in front of a packed home crowd.

This was Griffith’s first National Anthem appearance at a Chicago Sky game, adding to a growing list of high-profile performances that includes the Chicago White Sox, Kansas City Chiefs, UIC Flames, and other major sporting events.

“It was an incredible honor to perform for the Chicago Sky and their fans,” said Griffith. “The energy in the arena was electric, and I’m grateful to be part of celebrating women’s sports here in my hometown.”
