RJ Griffith Shines in The Color Purple with KaidyDid Productions in Indianapolis

Chicago-based singer-songwriter, actor, and youth advocate RJ Griffith recently took the stage in Indianapolis as part of KaidyDid Productions’ presentation of The Color Purple at Urban Musical Theatre.

Griffith, who played the role of Ol’ Mister, embraced the opportunity to join a cast of incredibly talented artists in one of the most powerful musicals in modern theater.

“Being part of The Color Purple with KaidyDid Productions was a blessing,” said Griffith. “The hospitality, the talent, and the energy from this cast were unmatched. From the singing and acting to the dancing, Indianapolis is filled with artists the rest of the world needs to see. Ol’ Mister will forever be embedded in my heart because of the amazing people who helped bring this story to life.”

The production, which ran at Urban Musical Theatre, brought audiences to their feet with its moving story of resilience, empowerment, and the transformative power of love and community.

“I’ll never forget the laughs, the memories, and the way we supported each other as a cast,” Griffith added. “I’m grateful for my support system who came out to see the show and for everyone who made this production so special.”
