Acting Experience

Singer-songwriter and actor RJ Griffith is a dynamic, multifaceted performer whose career spans film, television, commercials, and live theatre. Beginning as a child actor alongside his twin brother in Paramount Pictures’ Hardball, RJ has continued to build an impressive and diverse body of work on both stage and screen. Most recently, he took his talents across the country as the HardMan in the National Tour of Choir of Man, after previously performing the role at Chicago’s Apollo Theater. His theatre credits also include The Other Cinderella, The Real Housewives of Motown, and Reasons: Earth, Wind & Fire at Chicago’s Black Ensemble Theater, as well as The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee at Indiana Repertory Theatre and the Safronia workshop with Lyric Opera of Chicago.

On screen, RJ has appeared in an expanding lineup of commercial and branded productions for organizations including Kraft-Heinz, Coors Light, the Chicago Blackhawks, Amazon and the Chicago Cubs, Guaranteed Rate, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Qdoba, and others. Represented by Gray Talent Group, he continues to pursue opportunities across film, television, theatre, and advertising.
