RJ Griffith to Perform National Anthem at Chicago Sky Game on Sunday, August 3

Chicago-based singer-songwriter and actor RJ Griffith will take center court this Sunday, August 3, to perform the National Anthem ahead of the Chicago Sky’s matchup against the Phoenix Mercury, one of the top teams in the WNBA. The performance is scheduled for 4:55 PM, just before the 5:00 PM tipoff at Wintrust Arena in downtown Chicago.

This marks Griffith’s first-ever National Anthem performance at a Chicago Sky game, adding to his growing list of anthem appearances, which include performances for the Chicago White Sox, Kansas City Chiefs, UIC Flames, and other major events.

“I’m incredibly excited and honored to perform the National Anthem for the Chicago Sky,” said Griffith. “As a lifelong supporter of women’s sports and Chicago athletics, this opportunity means a lot to me, and I can’t wait to bring positive energy to the arena.”

Griffith is known for his dynamic vocal range, inspirational community work, and his nonprofit Positive Vibes Only, which uses music and mentorship to uplift youth across the Midwest.
