RJ Griffith Connects with East Chicago Students for Youth Empowerment & Safety Discussion

RJ Griffith and Positive Vibes Only were proud to join For the Love of the Arts Inc. for a meaningful morning with 6th–8th grade students at East Chicago Lighthouse Charter School, using conversation, encouragement, and positivity to help empower the next generation.

RJ and the participating organizations spoke with students about several important issues facing young people today, including anti-bullying, vaping and drug-use prevention, summer safety, and mental health awareness.

A major focus of the morning was encouraging students to make positive choices, believe in themselves, support one another, and feel comfortable speaking up when they need help. Mental health was an especially important part of the conversation, reinforcing the message that emotional well-being matters and that young people should never feel like they have to navigate difficult situations alone.

For RJ, giving back to young people and the communities that have supported him has always gone hand-in-hand with his work as an artist and founder of Positive Vibes Only. Whether through music, community events, charitable initiatives, or simply taking the time to connect with students, the goal remains the same: use his platform to spread positivity and make a meaningful impact.
